About the Schweizer Fest 2 & 6 Mile Road Run
The shorter distance stays flat through Tell City's historic downtown, winding through the heart of the Schweizer Fest street festival. The longer route heads downtown first, then turns onto Mozart Street for a sustained climb before dropping back down on Tell Street and finishing on Main Street. That hill is the centerpiece of the longer race, real effort up, real relief coming down.
Both distances start near a local fitness center. After you finish, Advanced Rehabilitation provides post-race recovery services on site. There is also a free kids fun run that morning, a short dash along Main Street finishing near City Hall, with bibs available at the starting line on race day.
