About the 28th Annual Scheels Turkey Trot
The course follows a clockwise loop around Sparks Marina, so the views stay with you the whole way. It is flat water-side running, and you can add laps if you want more miles before heading to the table. This year's theme plays off a road construction project nearby, and costumes are a real part of the morning.
Packet pickup runs at a Scheels sporting goods store in the days before the race. Parking is open at the marina, with overflow spots along the pathway near Western Village. Jogging strollers are welcome on course; dogs are not, except for registered service dogs.
