About the 2nd Annual Save Our First Responders 5K
The course runs several laps around Truman Waterfront Park, passing the historic Coast Guard Cutter Ingham along the water. It is a road course on flat park terrain, open to all paces and ages. The race is organized around a team competition among first responder groups, with individual age-group recognition alongside the team awards.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a running store on Duval Street, with race-morning pickup available at the park. The opening ceremony features a speaker from the Wounded Warrior Project, and there are refreshments and a raffle after the finish.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
