About the Santa's Stampede
Santa's Stampede runs through downtown Abbeville during the Christmas season, put on by the Louisiana Cattle Association. The course stays on city streets, so the surroundings are urban and the footing is straightforward. Several distance options mean runners and walkers of different ambitions can both find a fit here.
The race starts in the heart of downtown, so street parking in the surrounding blocks is the practical option. Both distances go off close together on the same morning, making it easy for a group to show up together even if they plan to run different courses.
