Santa's Soccer Sprint runs through Goldsboro to benefit a local youth travel soccer club. The proceeds go toward keeping participation costs down for young players, so the race has a clear purpose behind it beyond the finish line. The course details are not elaborate, but the cause ties the morning together in a way that gives it some weight.
