About the Sandusky River Trail Fun Run/Walk & Paddle
The course runs through Steyer Nature Preserve along the Sandusky River, on natural wooded paths with narrow stretches, hills, stairs, and foot bridges. The shorter distance follows an all-grass path. There is also a paddling option where you kayak down the river, with kayaks and safety gear provided. Proceeds support the Sandusky River Watershed Coalition.
Registration happens on race morning before the start. Parking is at the southern entrance off the county road intersection near Fry Road. The terrain limits strollers and accessibility on the longer trail, so the shorter grass path is the better option if that matters to your group.
