About the San Antonio New Years Eve 5k
This is an evening race through Pearsall Park, timed to close out the year after dark. Headlamps are required, which gives the course a different feel from a typical morning road race. The organizer describes it as a fast course, so the terrain is likely forgiving underfoot.
Packet pickup happens at the park on race day only, in the hours before the start. You park in the main lot and walk or jog over to the finish line area to collect your bib. Look for the red tent when you arrive.
