About the Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Phoenix
The race is held at Glendale Heroes Regional Park and is dedicated to military veterans. The courses are out-and-back routes with gentle rolling terrain, nothing that would qualify as a real climb. Self-serve water stations are spaced out along the way, so runners who want to move fast might prefer to carry their own hydration.
Race-morning check-in opens well before the start, with an earlier pickup option posted if one becomes available. The race draws veterans running free, active-duty participants, and civilian supporters all on the same course together.
