About the Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Denton TX
The race runs out of North Lakes Park and follows out-and-back courses, so you retrace the same ground on the way home. The terrain is mostly flat with just enough gentle roll to keep it honest. The whole event is built around honoring veterans, and that thread runs through the morning, from the free entry for those who served to the awards spread across age groups and masters categories.
