The course winds through a historic neighborhood district in Hattiesburg, on a smooth surface with a handful of gentle rises and dips along the way. Traffic monitors are posted at turns, so the route shares some space with the real world. There is an aid station stocked with water.
Packet pickup the evening before takes place at The ARC Southeast MS Gymnasium on Bonhomie Road. Race-morning pickup opens before the start for those who miss the early window. After the race, there is food, refreshments, and a door prize drawing alongside the awards ceremony.
