About the RVYF Turkey Trot 5K & Kids Gobble Wobble 1 Mile
The course runs through downtown Russellville and starts and finishes at the Historic Train Depot. It is described as flat and fast, so expect pavement and open streets rather than anything technical. Costumes are welcome, and plenty of runners show up in turkey gear. The race also has a shorter kids' run, so families tend to make a morning of it.
Packet pickup and check-in happen at the Depot on race morning before the first wave goes off. A few streets around the start area close for the race, so leave yourself a little extra time to find public parking in the surrounding downtown lots and side streets. Awards are presented at the Depot after the main race wraps up.
