About the Runtastic HAUNTED Salt Lake City
The half marathon starts up in the canyon and runs downhill into the city, passing through areas the organizers call Spook Alley and a graveyard section before finishing at Sugar House Park. The shorter run covers the same Halloween-themed territory at a quicker clip. Costumes are expected, and there is a contest before the start.
Packet pickup is the evening before the race at an expo with vendor booths. Bring a photo ID, or a copy of someone else's if you are picking up for them. Morning pickup is available near the bus loading area for an added fee.

The Runtastic HAUNTED Salt Lake City has been held every year since at least 2015. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
