The course runs along a paved river trail out of Kiwanis Park, which serves as both start and finish. It is flat the whole way, with the river alongside you. Self-serve water stations are spaced out along the route, so if you plan to push the pace and skip them, a handheld bottle or vest is worth bringing.

Packet pickup opens race morning an hour before the first wave goes off. Registration and check-in are also available that morning, so there is no separate trip the day before unless an early option gets added later.
