About the Run for a Reason 2027
This is a charity entry program tied to the Eugene Marathon, not a standalone race. You run the marathon, half marathon, or a shorter distance as a fundraising team member for Two Daughters Foundation, an organization that connects young adults with peer grief support when a parent is seriously ill or has died. The course takes in South Eugene and passes through the University of Oregon campus.
Your entry fee is covered once you hit your fundraising minimum, so the path to the start line runs through your donation page rather than a checkout cart. The foundation provides a personal fundraising page and support from their staff as you work toward your goal.
