The course begins and ends on a high school track, heading out through the school grounds and crossing Queen Street before dropping onto the Frog Hollow Trail. The trail section is an out-and-back through what feels like a different world from the road, and returning to the track to finish gives the end of the race a bit of a stadium feel.
