The course runs out and back along the Santa Cruz River path, so the route is straightforward and the footing is consistent the whole way. Several distance options are available, from a short kids run up through a half marathon. Aid stations are spaced along the path at each turnaround point, and the course is marked with triangle signs on the ground.

Packet pickup is the evening before at the Marana Park & Recreation Community Center, with race-morning online registration also available. The start area has face painting, a photo booth, and a roll-a-turkey craft activity. There is a raffle open to all registered participants.
