About the #RUNMARANA Turkey Trot and Kid’s Free FUN Run
The course runs out and back along the Santa Cruz River path, so the route is straightforward and the footing is consistent the whole way. Several distance options are available, from a short kids run up through a half marathon. Aid stations are spaced along the path at each turnaround point, and the course is marked with triangle signs on the ground.
Packet pickup is the evening before at the Marana Park & Recreation Community Center, with race-morning online registration also available. The start area has face painting, a photo booth, and a roll-a-turkey craft activity. There is a raffle open to all registered participants.

The #RUNMARANA Turkey Trot and Kid’s Free FUN Run has been held every year since at least 2020. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
