About the Run Your Bundts Off 5k Fun Run & Walk - Springfield
The course runs loops around the main path at Lincoln Park, so you pass familiar ground a few times before you are done. It is a road race through a park setting, flat and shaded, with the start and finish both in front of the pavilion. Proceeds support youth running programs in the area, so there is a real reason behind the morning.
Packet pickup the evening before takes place at the Nothing Bundt Cakes location on Wabash Ave, with race-morning pickup available at the park starting early. Parking is in the Nelson Center lot and nearby park lots, and the start area in front of the pavilion parking lot is closed to traffic during the race. Bundtinis are waiting at the finish line.
