About the Run/Walk for Hope 5K
The course runs through White Hall Park, a scenic stretch that the organizers describe as historic. The route is a single loop around the park, and the surroundings feel more like a nature outing than a road race. There is also a shorter color run for younger kids that circles the lake, with volunteers splashing runners with color along the way.
Packet pickup is race morning at the park pavilion, and parking is in the main lot with volunteers directing traffic. After the race, Kona Ice, a coffee truck, and a food vendor are on site, along with face painting, a bounce house, and a photo booth. Awards cover overall and age group winners.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2026 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The Run/Walk for Hope 5K has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Sep 10, 2026.
