About the Run Under The Stars™ Paducah, KY

The course is a lighted oval at Carson Park Fairgrounds, a horse track surfaced with crushed limestone. It runs at night, so there are no hills, no roots, no pavement, and no sun. You set your own goal and stop when you reach it. Chip timing tracks your distance and displays it as you pass the timing tent.

Packet pickup opens in the early evening at the white building near the grandstands, before the night start. Parking is on-site, either in the main lot or on the grass infield, where you can also pitch a tent under the shade trees. The aid station is stocked with fruit, pretzels, chips, PB&J, grilled cheese, and bacon. Dogs must stay off the course.
