About the Run to Your Calling
The race starts and finishes at St. Charles Borromeo Seminary, a campus setting that gives the evening a distinct character. The course is a short out-and-back or loop through the surrounding streets, run at dusk, which keeps the air cooler than a morning start would. The whole thing benefits the Diocese of El Paso's vocations ministry, so the crowd skews toward parish families and school groups.
After the race, the seminary hosts a kermes on the grounds, with enchiladas, gorditas, tacos, and aguas frescas alongside games and live music. Early packet pickup runs the day before at a separate location across town, with race-day pickup available on campus in the hours before the start.
