This is a charity race held at Riverbends Park, with proceeds supporting survivors of human trafficking through HOPE Against Trafficking. The park setting gives the morning an open, unhurried feel. A kids fun run runs alongside the adult distances, so families tend to show up together. The cause is front and center, and a keynote speaker kicks things off before the runners head out.
