About the Oktoberfest Runs @ Stony Creek
The course runs on the asphalt hike and bike path that circles Stony Creek Lake inside Stony Creek Metropark, with fall foliage along the tree-lined stretches and open views near the water. Every distance begins and ends at the Baypoint Beach tent. The path stays open to the public during the race, so expect to share it with cyclists and walkers heading both directions.
Packet pickup is offered the afternoon before at the Baypoint Beach tent, which the organizers encourage to keep race-morning lines short. Race-day pickup opens early at the same spot. Aid stations are spaced regularly around the lake, stocked with water, electrolyte drink, and gel.
