About the Run the Course 5k
The course runs through a golf course, so the surroundings are manicured and open, with the kind of quiet you do not usually get at a road race. The terrain is mostly flat with a handful of rolling hills mixed in, the sort that keep things interesting without punishing anyone. Proceeds go to a local shelter and housing organization.
Packet pickup is available the evening before at the golf club, with a second window on race morning before the start. Afterward, runners who are of legal drinking age can head into the clubhouse for a complimentary draft beer, which is a pretty good reason to stick around.

The Run the Course 5k has been held every year since at least 2025. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Oct 25, 2026.
