About the 48th Annual Oglesby Turkey Trot
The race starts and finishes at the Oglesby Elks Lodge on East Walnut, which also serves as the gathering point before and after. The course runs on open roadways, so runners stay to the far side except when passing. Age group awards cover a wide spread of categories for both men and women, and there is a kids fun run after the main event wraps up.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at the Elks Lodge, with race-morning check-in available as well. Parking sits on both sides of the building. After the finish, there is water, soda, Thanksgiving dressing, and free beer for those of legal age with ID at the ready.
