About the Run Like a King 5K 2026

The race starts and finishes at a park in the center of Quakertown, with local fire trucks and first responders on-site throughout the morning. The course is a road event through the borough, and the event raises money for a foundation started after a house fire took three members of a local family. The cause is woven into the morning rather than printed on a banner.

Packet pickup runs the evening before at a location to be announced, with race-morning pickup available at the check-in tables near the start. After the race, there are post-race snacks, a concession stand, Rita's Water Ice, bounce houses, and fire safety activities for kids.
