About the Run Kalamazoo Move Through Summer
Move Through Summer is a multi-week warm-weather training program in Kalamazoo that meets on weekend mornings at rotating outdoor locations, each with bathrooms nearby, and again mid-week on a track. The routes have unstaffed water stops spaced out along the way, and a coach stays at home base for the full duration, doubling as a pickup option if someone needs to cut a run short.
Volunteer pace setters spread across the field each week to help you find your rhythm rather than slotting everyone into fixed groups upfront. A certified running coach is on hand at home base for training guidance, and schedules covering everything from beginner walking programs to half marathon prep are provided and can be adjusted individually. Drop-in sessions are available if you cannot commit to the full program.
