About the Run in the Park 5K • 10K & Virtual Race
The course runs through Anderson Point Park, so expect trees, open park space, and paths that feel removed from the city even though you are close in. The race supports mental health awareness, with proceeds going to a local NAMI chapter, and there is a post-race celebration at the park after finishers cross the line.
This is an inaugural event, so some details are still taking shape. Both in-person and virtual options are available, letting people outside Raleigh participate during race week from wherever they are.
