About the Run For Your Life 5K
The course runs out and back along the Armstrong Trails, starting from the local YMCA. The trail surface is flat, which makes it a course where you can push a pace without worrying much about terrain. Strollers and dogs are welcome, so the start area tends to have a casual mix of people beyond just runners. Awards go out after the last person finishes.
The race raises money for bystander CPR training, and that purpose sits at the center of the whole event. Registration opens race morning, and the start is from the YMCA, so parking and bathrooms should be straightforward.
