About the Run for Wishes 5K Benefitting MAKE-A-WISH® CONNECTICUT

The course runs through the Lordship neighborhood along roads that overlook Long Island Sound, and the water stays in view for most of the route. The terrain is flat throughout, so there are no real climbs to manage. It raises money for Make-A-Wish Connecticut, and the setting along the shore gives it a distinctly summer-morning feel.

The Little Pub hosts the start and finish, with packet pickup available the evening before at the pub's picnic lot as well as on race morning. After finishing, there are snacks, chips, and both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, and the pub stays open for the crowd that lingers.
