About the Run For Trey
Run For Trey honors a child killed by a drunk driver, and the proceeds go toward maintaining a memorial field and funding scholarships in his name. The course is all-terrain, and runners finish by coming onto the field at Perkins Stadium on the campus in Whitewater. It is a race with a clear purpose behind it.
Packet pickup opens on race morning. After the run, there is food, a bounce house, an obstacle course for kids, and a raffle. Dogs are welcome on course, which makes the post-race atmosphere more of a neighborhood gathering than a typical finish-line scene.
