About the Run for the Dogs - Portland
The course runs around Back Cove Park, which keeps things flat and open with water views for most of the route. Dogs on leashes are welcome, so expect plenty of four-legged running partners alongside the humans. Strollers can technically make it, though the organizers flag some uneven ground on the path.
Packet pickup opens on race morning well before the start, so there is no separate trip the day before. There is food and drink at the finish line for both people and their dogs.
