About the Run for Roots: Heard It Through the Grapevine
The course runs through Kearney Park, set among vineyards that tie directly to the race's theme. The whole event leans into Fresno's agricultural history, and runners showing up in raisin costumes are part of the scenery, not an oddity. The route is open to all paces, and the park setting keeps things grounded and genuine.
Packet pickup runs the evening before at a community resource center, with a second window on race morning near the start in the park's sports complex area. Breakfast is at the finish.
