About the Run for Hope
This race raises money for suicide awareness, and the morning reflects that purpose. It starts on a track, which puts everyone together at the line before heading out. There is a ceremonial feel throughout, with the national anthem before the gun and an awards ceremony with door prizes and sponsor recognition to close things out.
Packet pickup happens at the high school's Fine Arts Auditorium on race morning, wrapping up shortly before runners need to gather at the start. Walkers check in for packets separately and do not receive a bib. The post-race program includes awards, door prizes, and recognition of the event's sponsors.

The Run for Hope has been held every year since at least 2024. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
