The course starts and finishes at a chapel on the east side of Billings, running on paved roads. It is flat enough for walkers and fast enough for anyone chasing a time. The race raises money for a local organization that works with survivors of human trafficking, so the reason people show up tends to give the morning a weight you do not always feel at a road race.
