About the Run for a Claus
This is a holiday-themed race in Irvine, with costumes, decorations, and music along the course. It benefits a foundation focused on youth running, alongside other charity partners. The atmosphere leans toward festive participation over fast times, and runners of most ages show up in the spirit of the season.
There are cookies and free race photos at the finish. The race is presented by OC Marathon, so the event infrastructure tends to be well organized, with a proper finish area and post-race spread to linger around after you cross.
