About the Run 4 the Pies
Run 4 the Pies is a Thanksgiving morning race held at Constitution Park in Tequesta. The main course runs along Dover Road, and there are shorter distances for children, so the start area has a mix of ages and a holiday-morning energy that comes from the occasion rather than from anything manufactured. A costume contest runs alongside the race, with judges walking the corrals before the gun.
Packet pickup happens the two days before at a church parish hall directly across from the park, and race-morning pickup is available there as well. Parking is in nearby public shopping plazas, so give yourself extra time to walk over. The organizers suggest arriving well before the start to allow for that.
