About the Freedom 4 Miler TEQUESTA
This race runs on the national holiday and is hosted directly by the nonprofit it benefits, which supports families of fallen service members. The entry fees go toward purchasing Christmas gifts for those families, and a toy drive runs alongside the race. The cause is the center of the morning, not an afterthought.
Packet pickup is offered over the couple of days before the race, either at the organization's headquarters in Palm Beach Gardens or at Constitution Park in Tequesta, near the recreation center gazebo. Race-morning pickup is available but the organizers strongly encourage picking up early.
