About the Run 4 Recovery
Run 4 Recovery is built around a cause: supporting addiction recovery through Temple City Church's Recovery Alive program. The race starts on Durwood Stephenson Parkway and offers both a shorter and a longer distance option. The field tends to draw people who are personally connected to recovery in some way, so the atmosphere on course reflects that weight and purpose.
Packet pickup runs the afternoon before at Temple City Church on South Pollock Street in Selma, with race-morning pickup available at the start line for those who cannot make the earlier window. Awards go to top overall finishers and age-group leaders in both races, as well as the fastest and largest teams.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
