About the Gobble Waddle 5K/10K

The Gobble Waddle runs through Smithfield around Thanksgiving, and the organizers lean into the holiday: participants are encouraged to bring canned goods for a local food bank and a hospice house in the area. Strollers and leashed dogs are welcome on the course, so the field tends to be a real mix of people out for different reasons.

Packet pickup is the evening before at HealthQuest Fitness and Wellness Center, the race's presenting sponsor, with race-morning pickup available as well. An awards ceremony follows the finish, with age group and overall categories for both distances, plus team awards for spirit and creativity.
