About the 5th Annual Run 3 for Joey D 5K
The course runs through North Collier Regional Park, a green, open setting that makes for a pleasant morning on your feet. The route takes you through the park's landscapes, and the surroundings are calm enough that you can settle into your pace without much distraction. The race honors a local figure, and that context gives the morning a quieter, more personal tone than a typical road race.
Post-race awards go to top overall finishers and to age group leaders, so there is something to race for if you are inclined. The start is at the park itself.
