About the RRRC 49th Annual Turkey Trot 10k & 5k

Both distances run through Bryan Park on Thanksgiving morning, with the shorter route staying mostly inside the park and the longer one heading out the back into the surrounding neighborhood before looping back. The race is cupless, so bring your own water bottle; refill stations are on the course. Course marshals and police are posted along the road sections.

Packet pickup happens at two spots in the days before the race, including a local running store and a brewery. Race-morning pickup is at a shelter in the park. Runners park off-site at the Acca Shriners Center on Bellevue Avenue, not inside the park. A kids' run goes off first. Shelf-stable food donations for a local hunger-relief food bank are welcome at the start.
