About the RRRC Pony Pasture 5K, in memory of Peter Still
The course runs through Pony Pasture, a riverside park on the south side of Richmond. It is a road race, so expect pavement, and the organizers ask runners to leave headphones behind to stay aware of traffic and course marshals. Strollers are welcome, though they must line up at the rear of the field.
Parking at the park fills up fast. The nearest overflow option is a shopping center up the road, which means a solid walk to the start, so arriving early matters. Packet pickup runs the evening before at a running store on Willow Lawn Drive, with race-morning pickup available at the park as well.

Finish-Time Stats
Going by the 2025 results, this is a small, friendly field, and the spread of finish times is wide, so this is a mostly recreational race rather than one for club runners.

The RRRC Pony Pasture 5K, in memory of Peter Still has been held every year since at least 2009. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
