About the Rowayton Turkey Trot
The courses run through the Rowayton neighborhood, starting in front of the Community Center on Highland Ave. The shorter distance keeps to the back of the pack, letting the longer-distance runners clear the start first. Chip timing handles the rest, so there is no scramble to the line when the horn goes.
Bib pickup runs at several sessions in the days before the race, including evenings at a local running store in Darien, which is the easiest way to avoid the race-morning rush. Parking is across the street at Graham Capital or down the hill at the elementary school.
