About the Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K

The courses run almost entirely on Peachtree City's paved golf cart path network, winding through wooded greenspace, past ponds, and through short tunnels. The scenery shifts constantly, so there are no long straight stretches to grind through. The paths roll gently rather than climb hard, and both distances carry USATF certification.

Packet pickup is at the finish area, the Frederick Brown Jr. Amphitheater Complex, which also serves as the post-race hub. A large heated tent is available for warming up or waiting out cold weather, and there is a bag check. The start is a short distance away at an elementary school on the same street.

Common Questions About the Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K

Will I finish last at the Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K?

Almost certainly not. Half the 13.1 Miles field finished slower than 2:07:19, and the last recorded finisher came in around 3:50:18, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K a good first 13.1 Miles?

A field of 280 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 13.1 Miles, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Rotary Peachtree City Half Marathon & 5K?

The 13.1 Miles winner ran 1:07:14 while the median finisher took 2:07:19. That spread points to a mixed field, with a competitive front and a big recreational middle.
