About the Rocket Fun Run, powered by ASICS
This is an evening run that starts at a running store and heads up McGregor Hill, then turns back. The route is on lit streets, though runners are asked to bring their own light source. It doubles as a shoe demo, so you can try out fresh ASICS before you go, and there is a costume contest afterward with a crowd-cheer format.
The start area has raffle drawings and rocket pops at the finish. The costume theme is rocket and space, and the contest runs by crowd volume rather than judges. Packet pickup is at the store before the start, and demo shoes are available on a first-come basis.
