About the Rock Reno Half Marathon, Relay & 5K
The course runs point-to-point from south Reno to downtown, covering streets, bike paths, and stretches along the Truckee River before finishing outside a minor league baseball stadium. The ballpark setting gives the finish a different feel from a typical road race, with the downtown skyline close by rather than a parking lot or park.
A shuttle runs from the finish area to the start for half marathon runners, which takes the logistics headache out of a point-to-point course. The midpoint of the route doubles as the relay exchange, and there is aid with water and electrolytes at several spots along the way, plus nutrition at the halfway mark.
