About the Rock and Run for Mental Health 2026

The race takes place at a community park, with the course starting near the pavilion by the playground. It is a benefit event, with proceeds going toward free counseling for people who cannot afford it. A live band plays after the runners finish, and several food trucks are on site, including coffee, mini donuts, and a full food truck.

Race-morning packet pickup is at the park pavilion before the start. There is also a pickup window the afternoon before at a location to be announced. Wellness and mental health vendors are spread through the park for most of the morning, and age group awards go out once the top finishers are in.

Common Questions About the Rock and Run for Mental Health 2026

Will I finish last at the Rock and Run for Mental Health 2026?

Almost certainly not. Half the 5K field finished slower than 33:54, and the last recorded finisher came in around 1:05:02, so there is a long tail of runners behind the middle of the pack. Most fields are far slower than people expect.

Is the Rock and Run for Mental Health 2026 a good first 5K?

A field of 268 is big enough that you will have company at your pace without feeling lost in a crowd. There is no qualifying time, and the finish-time spread above shows how varied the field really is. If it is your first 5K, that spread matters more than the winner's time.

How competitive is the Rock and Run for Mental Health 2026?

The 5K winner ran 15:10 while the median finisher took 33:54. That spread points to a broad, mostly recreational field rather than a race dominated by club runners.
