About the Robert J. Lynes Memorial Road Race
The race is held in Hubbard Park, a place Bobby Lynes spent much of his life working to preserve and improve. Proceeds go toward the park itself, so the connection between the course and the cause is direct. The route is on road, and the park setting means trees and open space rather than pavement through a commercial strip.
A kids fun run goes off just before the main race, so the start area has families. After finishing, there are massages and compression boots available from a physical therapy sponsor on site, along with a gift card and basket raffle open to all registrants.

The Robert J. Lynes Memorial Road Race has been held every year since at least 2023. That is as far back as RunSignup's records for this race go, so it may well be older.
How we calculate these stats: RunSesh calculates these figures from the most recent published results of past editions, sourced from RunSignup. We show aggregates only: field size, winning and median times, and the cutoff. We never publish individual finisher tables. Last updated Jul 27, 2026.
