About the ROAR FLORIDA 5K Color Run
The course runs through the working grounds of an aviation expo, past aircraft displays and across open tarmac sections at the airport campus. It is flat road the whole way, which makes it genuinely quick underfoot. Color stations along the route mean you will finish looking very different from how you started, so wear something you do not mind staining.
The race benefits an organization that supports adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. Age group awards go deep into the field, and overall winners are pulled out of the age group pool, so placing in your category is a real possibility even if you are not first across the line.
