The course starts at Rotary Island and runs along the river, so you have water views for much of the route. It is untimed, which shapes the whole morning: people walk, jog, and move at whatever pace suits them. Proceeds go toward two local high school groups learning to run a fundraiser, so the crowd skews young and the mood follows. Restrooms are at the start and finish area.
